Maritime Starlink procurement at fleet scale

Adding Starlink to a 30-vessel fleet is not a retail purchase. Each terminal must be paired to the fleet's Starlink Business account, registered against a vessel ID, fitted with the correct mounting hardware for the vessel class, and delivered to either the vessel's home port or the next scheduled port-of-call.

Solaris Wireless coordinates the entire workflow. Order a fleet of 30 kits, supply the vessel manifest, and receive kits pre-registered, asset-tagged and shipped via the correct logistics path for each vessel's location.

Solaris capabilities for maritime

Solaris's Singapore and Netherlands supply nodes serve the major commercial shipping lanes. Kits are dispatched through port logistics partners in Rotterdam, Singapore, Hong Kong, Dubai and Miami. For offshore platforms, deliveries coordinate with the platform's helicopter or supply-vessel schedule.

Mounting hardware is selected to the vessel class (commercial cargo, tanker, container, offshore platform, superyacht). Installation guidance is provided per vessel; for fleet operators that prefer turnkey, Solaris coordinates with port-based marine electronics installers.

Frequently Asked Questions

Common questions from buyers

Can Solaris pre-register Starlink kits to our maritime service account?

Yes. We register each terminal to your Starlink Business or Maritime account against the vessel ID before shipment, so the kit activates against the correct service plan on first power-on.

What mounting hardware does Solaris supply with maritime kits?

Solaris supplies the appropriate mast mount, deck mount or gimbal-stabilised mount for the vessel class. For superyachts and high-performance vessels, gimbal-stabilised mounts compensate for vessel motion.

Does Solaris ship to vessels at sea or only to port?

Standard delivery is to port-of-call or to the vessel operator's logistics hub. For vessels in long voyages, Solaris coordinates port-of-call delivery with the vessel's schedule.

What is the minimum order for fleet Starlink procurement?

Solaris Wireless typical maritime engagements range from 5 vessels (regional fleet) to 100+ vessels (global commercial shipping). 10+ kits receive dedicated maritime account management.
